These instuctions were designed for old projector style boards but still works with new smart displays.
The SMART Board touch system needs to be 'oriented', to associate it with the correct display device on your computer. Within the SMART Product Drivers control panel, press the 'orient' button. When the SMART Board touch system orientation screen comes up on the wrong display, press the computer's space bar to tell it to associate with a different display on your computer. When the orientation screen is shown on the same display which appears on your SMART Board's touch surface, then touch each of the orientation targets to tell the system where to associate SMART Baord touch events relative to your computer's display.
