To make use of Homeaccess on a Chromebook you will need the Microsoft remote desktop app.


If you have the app already proceed to Step 2


Step 1

 Please go to the below link on the device, and click install Microsoft remote desktop.

Step 2

  1. Once the installation has finished, open the app and you will see a screen similar to the following:




Step 3

At the top right corner, click on the plus arrow and select Remote Resource Feed:

  1. Put in the following web address/details in the Feed URL box and click next:


Homeaccess.cathedralschoolstrust.org


Once you have done this it will prompt you for a user name. From the drop-down arrow on the right of the User Name box, select Add User Account

  1. Type your username in the box like the following: Schools\Your username and enter your school password into the password field and click save.



Step 4

Once complete you should be able to complete the process and you should see your RDS FARM in the dashboard,  just double click this and the remote desktop should open.


If you are attempting to connect from a non-school network you will receive a Duo notification on your phone which you will need to approve to proceed.
